Southampton

    Specializing in reproductions of fine antique furniture designs created by Thomas Chippendale, George Hepplewhite and Thomas Sheraton, the Adams brothers and other fine cabinetmakers, Southampton's goal is to provide reproductions that are authentic in every detail with the highest quality and craftsmanship. While most items in the Southampton collection are handmade by Virginia and Carolina craftsmen, a significant number of their reproductions are actually produced in small cabinet shops in England where cabinetmakers have a long heritage of making furniture that looks old. Bedroom, dining, and occassional pieces are offered in mahogany, yew, walnut, cherry, elm, birch, tiger maple, english oak and satinwood.
Southampton is the licensee for Historic New England and the Society of the Preservation of New England Antiquities.
